The locomotive and tender has been on display here since 1998, but it was originally built in 1973. It was originally owned by a former president of the Bank Of American Fork. It arrived at Lagoon around 1975 and was a part of the Wild Kingdom Train attraction until 1988. For many years the train sat on the tracks of the old Pioneer Village Railroad and later near Lagoon's warehouse. It was placed here in 1997 and removed again the next year to be "cosmeticly restored". It returned around 1999 or 2000 and has remained here since. The tracks in this area follow the approximate location of the old Pioneer Village Railroad grade. You can read more about this train's history in the Rides Section.
