RATTLESNAKE RAPIDS PLAZA

The plaza area was added in 1997 when Rattlesnake Rapids opened. It was a major expansion to Pioneer Village and includes food, games, souvenirs and a locomotive that used to pull trains of guests around Lagoon Lake. On the next few stops of the tour, we'll take a closer look of each of these.

 

There are a lot of props strewn around the plaza and the ride such as a well, mine carts and other old mining equipment. The original plan for Pioneer Village's expansion included a mine train coaster and an extended Log Flume ride.
