EXPLORE LAGOON: PIONEER VILLAGE TOUR: Bone Yard
BONE YARD

The Bone Yard is an area outside the park off limits to guests where old parts and equipment from old attractions are basically left to rot. Many amusement parks have areas like this designated as "bone yards". Lagoon has another bone yard north of the park. Some items you can see from the Lagoon Trail such as buildings from the old Water Wars game and the large iron gate used for the Water Skeeters and Tidal Wave entrance. Another area which was only accessible by the Pioneer Village Railroad and Stagecoach rides is also home to many old pieces of Pioneer Village's past. For purposes of this tour, I'm including this area as part of the Bone Yard.
Here you can see such things as old farming equipment, wagons, broken wagon wheels, wooden barrels, a miniature stagecoach and the remains of the P.V.R.R. track.
