history & info
This junior coaster circles a small, oval-shaped track three times per ride.
Puff took the place of the old Kiddie Coaster in 1985. It has also been referred to as Puff The Roller Coaster or Puff The Magic Dragon.
In 1989, a child squeezed out of the restraints before the ride was over. Lagoon quickly added more safety restraints to the ride to prevent this and has been the only park to do so. There have been no problems since.
Zierer is a German company which has served the amusement industry for decades. They have built rides for Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags and many parks around the world. Other Zierer rides at Lagoon include Dinosaur Drop, Kontiki, Ladybug Bop, OdySea, Turn Of The Century and Wicked.
