EXPLORE LAGOON: PIONEER VILLAGE TOUR: Pony Express Museum

PONY EXPRESS MUSEUM

This building, now closed to guests, is the former home of the Pony Express Museum. It contained saddles and the cigar store Indian that is now in the Drug Store. It was the Stagecoach stop starting in 1976 and possibly where riders boarded the short-lived Ox-Drawn Wagon. In the 1990s, a counter service restaurant was set up in part of the building and was named The Pony Express. The building has been closed for several years now.
