EXPLORE LAGOON: PIONEER VILLAGE TOUR: Outhouse

OUTHOUSE

Outhouse / Photo: Rick

This old outhouse was unique because it had three seats inside. It was boarded up after some park guests were caught trying to use it. Lagoon had hoped to restore it, but it has remained in this condition for quite a while now. Just so you know, there are restrooms near the picnic terraces not far from here or at the other end of the village. A sign out front includes this message of warning:

"This building is a museum artifact under the protection of Pioneer Village. Its survival will be determined by the way you, our patrons treat it. Anyone caught tampering with this artifact will be prosecuted to the fullest."
