EXPLORE LAGOON: PIONEER VILLAGE TOUR: Old Engine House

OLD ENGINE HOUSE

The Old Engine House today / Photo: Lagoon

This was the original Old Engine House. You can still see the sign on the end of the roof. After the fire engine was moved into the Town Hall, the Popcorn Wagon found a new home here. Even after popcorn was no longer sold at Lagoon, lemonade and other drinks could be purchased from the wagon at this location. Just recently, the Popcorn Wagon was moved into Carriage Hall and there are now vending machines in its place.

The old sign is still on the north end of the building.
