history & info

Riders load onto their log at the station and float down the waterway through what used to be a quiet part of the Pioneer Village backcountry. You'll cross Farmington Creek and see the Rattlesnake Rapids R.R. display as you make a sharp turn and head up the ramp. After reaching the top, your log plummets down a long plume, making a big splash at the bottom.

Lagoon's Log Flume was moved from Pixieland in Otis, Oregon. According to PdxHistory.com, Lagoon bought the ride in 1974. This ride was much more exciting in the early days before rides like Rattlesnake Rapids and Cliffhanger arrived. It's still an enjoyable ride, though. New supports were added around 2006 or 2007.

Arrow Development was founded in 1946 in California. They made many rides for Disneyland including the Matterhorn Bobsleds which was the first coaster to use a tubular steel track. They later became Arrow Dynamics and relocated to Clearfield, Utah. In 2001, it was bought out by S&S Power of Logan, becoming S&S Arrow.
