history & info
This ride is a fairly new concept in children's rides. After rolling back and forth a few times, it begins spinning in circles as it rocks back and forth. Adults may ride this with their children.
Kontiki opened along with the Dragonfly in 2004. To make room for these rides, Bulgy The Whale was moved near Baby Boats and was located there until it moved again in 2006.
Zierer is a German company which has served the amusement industry for decades. They have built rides for Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags and many parks around the world. Other Zierer rides at Lagoon include Dinosaur Drop, Ladybug Bop, OdySea, Puff The Little Fire Dragon, Turn Of The Century and Wicked.
