EXPLORE LAGOON: PIONEER VILLAGE TOUR: Farmington Creek

FARMINGTON CREEK

Here we cross Farmington Creek, which passes right through Lagoon property. It originates at a spring not far from the east side of Bountiful Peak. Though it has been pretty low in recent years, it has been known to flood its banks and cause damage to buildings in the park.

The bridge over this section was originally used only by the Stagecoach, Ox-Drawn Wagon and foot traffic to Pioneer Pavilion. The addition of Rattlesnake Rapids has greatly increased its use.
