HISTORY & INFO

Carousel Theatre is located near the Carousel on the South Midway. There have been many years where there are at least two shows featured here each season. The longest running show here is Rock U2 The Top which showcases performers singing and dancing to current hits.

The theatre opened in 1981 in the former location of the Flying Saucer and Octopus rides. Originally known as the Carousel Stage it was remodeled in 1984 and rebuilt in 1987. In 1996, it was rebuilt again and expanded.
